TST06 FEMINIST RHETORIC

Before TST, Steve played with free improvisation bands Burnt Lungcancer(1978-1988) and the Decay Men, and others (1981-1985). In 1998 Steve created a project called FistFunk Futurists, which produced “impressionist psychedelic rock merged with free improvisation.” Fragments of this music have been further processed and are incorporated into TST. Since 2002 TST has created numerous albums.

Evolution and History: TST is an extension and refinement of an earlier project called FistFunk Futurists (FFF), which created free form psychedelic rock music by merging audio montages with extended improvisations and analogue electronics. The music was further altered by TST and refined by using early digital technology. We also referred to it as Bastardised Musak.
